The Photoelectric Smoke Detector is a certified Analog Addressable smoke detector designed for use with fire alarm control panels that employ the Potter Addressable Device (PAD) protocol. The PAD300-PD is a sleek, low-profile detector with a broad sensitivity range. Constructed from durable off-white plastic, it blends seamlessly with ceiling surfaces. With a sensitivity range of 1.1 to 3.5% per foot, the PAD300-PD is UL listed and features drift compensation and a built-in dirty detector warning. It communicates with the control panel over a reliable digital communication path, ensuring the system processes data at each device rapidly, with a total polling speed of less than five seconds, meeting UL standards. The detector is compatible with any PAD300 series bases and can be easily mounted by twisting it on. Addressing is done via DIP switches on the rear of the detector, allowing for easy field programming without special tools.
